Exhibitor Information
We are delighted to announce that bookings have now started for the 2008 Wedding & Engagement Fair at Leopardstown Racecourse and Limerick Racecourse.
This Year's Overall Sponsor, Blacktie.
We have for the third year teamed up with Blacktie as our overall sponsor for the two fairs this year.
We can assure all vendors that we are going to make both fairs events that every bride wants to attend - rooms with excellent vendors, a great atmosphere (after all it is a wedding they are planning!) and a fashion show to get their imaginations racing to find that perfect dress or to dress the men up in their lives.
Improvements & Innovations in 2008
We’d like to thank all of last year's exhibitors who provided feedback from our fair in Limerick, this is invaluable to us and allows us to improve and better the show each and every year. As a result of this feedback, along with a lot of research we did by attending bridal shows across the USA and England over the last few months, we have put a lot of new ideas into action.
- The two levels in Limerick worked great and many exhibitors have requested the same booths for this year, positive proof to us that it was effective for them.
- In Dublin the booths up at the fashion show level in 2008 will be the bridal shops and accessories. This is because we that where those attending had already purchased their dress, they were not going to the second level which was unfair to some of the exhibitors.
- There will be a lot more signage and those attending Limerick will have to go to level one before going down stairs, so that all vendors get equal exposure..
Once again we really are being very creative with our ideas and our enthusiasm is dispersing on to the many vendors who are already enquiring and are very excited about this year's tevents.
Fashion Show
The fashion show will cover all categories of wedding attire this year including:
- Brides
- Bridesmaids
- Grooms & Groomsmen
- Mother of the Bride
- Lounge suits for the father of the bride and male guests.
For the 2008 show we have models flying in from the USA and Sue Diehl from Visuals Productions will again be looking after
the fashion show.
Brides commented very positively on last year's fashion shows and said they loved the energy coming from the models, that they felt like ‘real brides’, showed the dresses very well and the selection of dresses were great.
Advertising and Media
As we have two fairs again this year we are going to do an even larger advertising campaign. We have already booked advertising slots with TV3, local and National radio stations and local and National Newspapers leading up to the event. This
ensures we retain the high numbers that attended last year and also helps to increase the attendee numbers this year. Other adverting for the show includes flyers, poster and AA road signs.
